In Denmark we have a very scenic route named the "Marguerite Route" it was - many years ago - created by input of locals from all over my country, and it definitely brings you out in the most beautiful corners of the Kingdom of Denmark...
    ———
I do have made the entire route system available on MRA Route-planner and would like to share this work with all who is visiting Denmark, and who will like a special routing, or part of driving on Motor Bike or Car…
    ———
If you travel to Denmark this Route might be the absolutely best way to come out in the corners of my country and see scenic places even many Danes haven’t seen…
You can dig deeper into the specific places by visiting this site:
    https://naturstyrelsen.dk/naturoplevelser/naturguider/margueritruten/
    ———
Or you can buy this book - unfortunately only written in danish…

@Stefan-G-Rasmussen Sounds really interesting, do you have a GPX file of this route?

@Stefan-G-Rasmussen, or even better, a link to your MRA route? You say you want to share a route, but you actually did not share it. Or do you just want to sell a book?

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

This copy from anothr foruam may explain 🙂

            • "I had the same problem finding a map of the Marguerite route, and soon found out why. It shows the route encompasses virtually every road in Denmark. A practically useless route for anyone visiting the country, as it does not allow for any discrimination or prioritization in planning of the best scenic drives to take in Denmark. Basically it is worthless to anyone but perhaps the locals or someone who has unlimited vacation time. Otherwise, just drive practically anywhere in Denmark and you'll find yourself on the Marguerite route."

If there is an element of truth in this then we may perhasp forget about it?

              Found it:
              https://www.myrouteapp.com/profile/routes/18887#2065563/datetime/desc
A total length of 11829 kilometers, so yes, unlimited vacation time is preferable.

The orginal GPX is here (I used the English-tranlated page since it's the only way I could navigate through the website):
                https://naturstyrelsen-dk.translate.goog/naturoplevelser/naturguider/margueritruten/download-koordinater/?_x_tr_sl=auto&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en-US&_x_tr_pto=wapp

I uploaded the largest one (Samlet_Jylland) into MRA as a route-track just for fun.

It half-worked - as in routes but with several leaps back to the origin. Definitely 'an exercise for the reader', as they say.

I like the idea, but 'The Best of Marguerite' would be nice too.

Okay, I'll take back my earlier remark about selling books. An account this recent, with only one message promoting something you can buy sure feels like spam, but that obviously is not the case here, so excuse me.

@Drabslab @Con-Hennekens while the total route is unlikely to be driven in a single (albeit multiday) trip, that doesn't make it useless. Especially as it's apparently available in MRA in segments of reasonable length, it could be very useful for someone planning a vacation to/in Denmark.

And definitively the website is a good place to find all things interesting about Denmark. It would actually be a good idea to visit Denmark next year.

Here is another interesting page with the daisy route: https://udinaturen.dk/shelter/11567

You can also download the track, but it contains many track segments and cannot be loaded directly into MRA.

Some time ago I made 6 tracks out of it, which you can use as a start for your own planning:
                        https://www.myrouteapp.com/profile/routes/1269492#9146913/datetime/desc

I have already ridden the "Seeland" part. It's really beautiful there and the riding is very relaxed - but unfortunately there are no mountains at all 🙂

Yes I do have all the routes in my Folder and it's public. And by opening those routes, you can export them to almost any kind of files that will be useful for your GPS -
If I'm right the GPX file are for Garmin, and that's the one I used for many years. Now I do have the MRA directly into my Apple CarPlay...

I thought - when the routes are marked "public" - that you could use them... ????
I have written MRA support, that my made routes were avaliable for free... (As all my other routes around in Europe)

I have written MRA support, that my made routes were avaliable for free... (As all my other routes around in Europe)

Yes you can, but no one will if they can't find it. You did not share a link in your initial topic. I found the link browsing your profile.

No, because I already found that 😉 see message above.
But if you want to share routes, please include the link to them in the first message. Thank you for sharing them though! Nice to see that @Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master will pick them up to add some RouteXpert sauce 😉

In Denmark we have a very scenic route named the "Marguerite Route" it was - many years ago - created by input of locals from all over my country, and it definitely brings you out in the most beautiful corners of the Kingdom of Denmark...

I do have made the entire route system available on MRA Route-planner and would like to share this work with all who is visiting Denmark, and who will like a special routing, or part of driving on Motor Bike or Car…

If you travel to Denmark this Route might be the absolutely best way to come out in the corners of my country and see scenic places even many Danes haven’t seen…

Well, if your intention was to "warm us up" for a holiday in Denmark then I can confirm that in my case you definitively succeeded.

But, with all imaginable respect, calling yourself "a very ordinary person" in your profile on this site does not fit the bill very well if you are THE Rasmussen who managed to crash-land a defect civil aircraft without any fatalities. 🙂 🙂 🙂
