Offline Map Update
-
Offline Map Update is not working - and cannot use offline maps until this is sorted. This issue has been happening for at least the last 4-5 days.
-
-
@GT-JWR-0 offline maps stability is something we will definitely work on. I’d try restarting the app or eventually reinstalling
-
@Corjan-Meijerink did both, neither worked.
-
@GT-JWR I have the same problem. Additionally, I can't set offline navigation - the switch doesn't work.
-
@christopherjknight was hoping it was related to the recent beta issue...appears it is not. I've updated my iOS and same issue present.
-
@christopherjknight that’s disabled on purpose - we still need to develop that! Will be implemented in the coming weeks
@GT-JWR the outage of MRA Navigation was completely unrelated to this
-
Same here, I have reinstalled the app as well.
-
@Corjan-Meijerink any update on a possible resolution?
-
@GT-JWR not actively working on this now. A reinstall should have fixed the issues. If not, is your storage by chance full?
-
@Corjan-Meijerink reinstall did not correct it, and there is no issue with storage capacity on iPhone. I will try the delete and re-install one more time.
-
@Corjan-Meijerink - FYI, 2nd uninstall, reboot of iPhone, reinstallation corrected the issue.
-
@Corjan-Meijerink after yesterdays update to the latest version, once again, the Update for maps was needed - and the same 'Something went wrong' error came up. Rebooting the phone (iPhone 11) made no difference.
Had to delete TestFlight and app, reinstall, and the re download all the offline maps I wanted.
Painful, time consuming process - is this a bug? Issue happening anywhere else?
-
@GT-JWR Not a bug as I also have an iPhone 11. No problems at all with offline maps.
-
I wanted to add a Belgium map for the weekend yesterday, but any additional map can not be loaded until the current one gets an update, but the update did not work.
So, I tried this morning, and now I get the error "something is not working".
I can not see what I have already downloaded and I can not add anything. -
@Jörgen exactly what has happened on 2 seperate update occasions. And the only fix was to delete the apps, reboot the phone, reinstall the apps and re download the offline maps wanted.
