Resume a route?

I'm just starting to use the myroute app instead of my satnav but when I start one of planned routes it works great until I stop then when I go back to it it wants to take me back to my first waypoint to start all over again. Can someone tell me what I'm missing here?

@Derek-Holyhead, Navigation does that, I have had that issue before. It seems to restart a route under certain unclear circumstances. You can skip waypoints. If it is many, better go into the menu, choose "start route from closes WP" (or similar), and check if you need to skip one WP extra (sometimes the closest WP lays behind).

Currently the BETA program for Navigation Next is running. I can promise things will be A LOT better compared to the "old" Navigation app!

@Derek-Holyhead Typically I just let it run in the background when I stop for gas, lunch, a break, etc. Not always ideal but better than starting from the begining.

There is an option in the older navigator to stop navigating when the screen is turned off. I use that when stopping for gas, lunch etc and it would restart just fine when I went back to navigator.

I have downloaded. You can download it via the settings at the top.

After I registered for the Beta there was a short delay (new users are provided access to download once every 2 weeks). For me it was about a week after I submitted my request.

You should have received Emails when your application was approved, with instructions.

If you have been approved (request processed) then you would also have access to the "Beta instructions" within this forum.

Depending on if you have Android, or iPhone, you read those instructions and should be able to find the Beta app for download (either Google Play store, or iPhone). The description of the app will clearly state it is a Beta program - so you know you are looking at the right thing to download.

If you have ever installed an app on your phone, this process is the same.
