Screen Lagging
-
I have used this for a 600 mile round trip to Germany. for fairness using two devices (iPhones) I compared back to back with Waze. One thing I found is that the icon lagged behind in that you had gone past a turning before it showed the same turn on the map. Only about 25 metres but enough to cause confusion in complex directions. Waze was always geographically spot on. Another thing and this may be operator error when you tried to Zoom out on the scale to see more of the route it immediately went back to Zoomed in. And I said this may be me as I need to explore that area a bit further but so far good very impressed all in all.

@Tim-Haynes Thanks for your remark! We are aware that the actual position is indeed lagging a bit. We are working on improving this.
When the camera is still following your location it will force a dynamic zoom level. Once you move the map, the camera will stop following you and you can zoom yourself. Once done, click the compass bottom right (if hidden, tap screen first) to refocus the camera.
Hint: tapping the compass will zoom out (if it is tracking you) and in the sidebar (opened with the "...") there is a button to view the entire route!

Especially on a roundabout it is very confusing which exit to take. It enters the roundabout on the screen when you are actually on it or already leaving the roundabout. It is also turning left to right which makes it even more confusing.

@Jaap-van-Maanen I agree, we will work on fixing the issue

Noticed this today. I saw the position updates freezing for about a second. The position would then lurch/jump forward in an attempt to catch up. This issue was constant - making position updates/moving map motion less than fluid.
Overall indicated position constantly lagged actual physical location.
