On my iPhone 12 when I am able to get to the route editor every time I try and use google maps to edit a route on my iPhone the map gets stuck in place. If I am using here or Tom Tom I can drag the map around and place points or vias, but when I switch to google maps i can no longer move the map around, the view I am on when I switch to google maps is the one I’m stuck with. To move from that view again I need to switch to another map view and then refresh the page.

Google maps is the most useful layer when trying to find or plan places to stop on your route, and it works on a computer but not on my phone or iPad. Please do try and make it useable again.

This is happening on my iPad 6th gen too. No problem with Here map in conjunction with Here overlays but map movement and zoom doesn’t work with Google maps overlay.

All other overlays work fine but once the Google ones have been selected all overlays freeze the map view.

Have to close and reopen route to get normal action back. Which fails again once Google overlay is selected.

I found this empirical solution. First select Google satellite, then select google maps default and zoom and move map correctly.

Doesn’t work for me on IPad at least so will have to wait for a fix.
