Downloading offline maps - annoying problem

After my problems with T-Mobile I had to install/uninstall few times app from my phone.
Quite annoying thing is with a map downloading.
I underestand that I can download a one map at once.
No problem. It is ok.But why I cannot add a maps to a queue and let it download one by one in background?
I have to wait when first map is fully downloaded and then I can chosse another one for download.When I have to download a 10 different maps it is annoying...
Any upgrade in a n App to select as many maps as I need and THEN I click: "Download selected maps"?
