How to route using a ferry?

I will be traveling in New York and Vermont USA and wish to take a ferry across Lake Champlain. Is there anyway to get the program to show the route using the ferry?Thanks!

@Erica-Goodwin You can place two waypoints, one at either side of the ferry crossing but set the furthest waypoint to Offroad/skip by clicking the car in the waypoint menu.
This shows the route as a straight line between the two waypoints and therefore navigation is temporarily disabled for navigation from wp1 to wp2.
See the example below.
