Split into days: cut-point pause also becomes next day’s meet-up allowance

I have been testing the timing when splitting a route at a stop. On 20 October, a 45-minute pause became both the pause ending day one and a meet-up allowance starting day two. The parts totalled 2h03, compared with 1h18 for the source.
I found a working correction: on a separate copy, setting day two’s “Meet-up before departure” to zero saved and reloaded correctly, restoring the combined 1h18.
Is carrying the allowance into both days intended, or could Split offer a choice?
