MRA 5.1.0-458 beta: Altitude keeps re-appearing
-
Cruising around Berlin/Brandenburg, the altitude display isn't that exciting (no mountains here), and I personally found it "cluttering" the Andoird Auto display, so I disabled it in the app's settings. However, it keeps showing up if, for instance, I stop the navigation and the app returns to "free drive" (I don't select free drive, it just shows the map, being adjusted as I drive, and speed limit/current speed automatically, as soon as I don't navigate anymore - exactly what I want! But it adds the altitude, despite it being disabled in settings by me. I then need to re-enable and disable it there again in order to actually hide it again.)

@peha I believe this has been fixed already! But that version is not in beta yet as Google needed so long to approve the current version.
Rest assured, this is fixed!

@Corjan-Meijerink Thanks

@corjan-meijerink, I found a discrepancy of about 50 meters though (in our flatland country...), the app gives a much higher result than height app that uses the same GPS or location data on the same phone.

@con-hennekens @corjan-meijerink
In my yesterday test on mobile, the difference was only 1 meter: a 1350 meters port, was measured "only" 1349 meters. So...for me works as expected

@Lluis-Arasanz, that's good to know. I am not the only one though. I don't know where it is coming from.

@Con-Hennekens I had the same experiance today. I started near the sea in Zeeland, my guess sealevel and the altimeter showed 50 meter. Thatβs not good I think
