Can't increase the number of waypoints

For the route, link below I wanted to increase the number of waypoints to 20, or 30. I have Gold membership.
But it stops after adding 3 waypoints bringing the total to 8. What am I doing wrong, never had a problem with this functionality before

@Tony-13 It works if you change the map from Here to TomTom, than expand en change back to TomTom. Yet no idea why not with TomTom...

@Tony-13 I’ve found the issue! There are a number of strange loops in your (original) route that are preventing the expansion on the TomTom map from working.

For example: wp5 and 7 are far of grid! And when replacing wp4 away from the roundabout it worked even in TomTom.
