Regelmässige Abbrüche während der Navigation (Android Auto)
-
I am using a Chigee AIO-5 with Samsung S24 Ultra and iPhone 13, but never had any issues like the ones you are describing. Make sure to set the Battery Usage setting to Unrestricted both for Android Auto and for MRA and check after that.

Quick update: I've now made some adjustments to the settings. This was also after the advice from Chigee customer support. Last week, I set off on a 3-day motorcycle tour to France/Italy with the new settings and high hopes. The topography is very diverse (flat, mountains, narrow valleys, tunnels) with varying GPS and mobile data availability.
Unfortunately, after the first day, I had to remove the Chigee and continue with the trusted Garmin Zümo XT2. The Garmin simply runs reliably in all situations, and with the new adapter from WayPoint, control via the BMW "Wonder Wheel" is possible.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the Chigee Aio-6. I was really annoyed by the crashes and the constant restarting of the Chigee and the smartphone. I just don't know what else I could do. It could be due to so many things: Chigee, smartphone (settings), Android Auto app, MyRouteApp.
On the first day, the message "Do you want to continue navigating?" appeared three times. When I confirmed with "yes," the navigation stopped until I restarted.
This type of navigation isn't sustainable for me, as I also work as a tour guide. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly when the outages occur. It happens so quickly and unexpectedly. Besides, I don't check the Chigee every second. It's just annoying, and so far, the Chigee hasn't been a good investment! -
I cannot help you. Only thing i can say is that wireless Android Auto isn't a good combination in my situation either. I'm glad i can use wired connection. This is 100% reliable.
