@Jörgen After reading my post again, I get what you mean. I mention re-arrange and 'section' of route, for me that felt clear when I wrote it. It was never about changing their physical location on the map, of course, when there is no street or path, it would be useless to place a marker there.

@richtea999 If a road is flagged by HERE as having a seasonal closure any time of the year, you have to check "Disable seasonal closures" to route through it -- even if the closure is for winter only and it's currently the dead of summer. Logically, it should only apply when the road is actually seasonably closed, and you want to create a route through it for future use. There is a good forum discussion on the confusion surrounding this Toolkit routing option avoidance: https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/5608/seasonal-closures-app-versus-planner-problem The obvious (to me) option would be to have an "Ignore Closed Roads" option for creating routes, regardless of what the immediate real-time situation is. Let me decide what's passable, and what isn't. Google will always be a better investigative solution than HERE, so let me do my own research. I've suggested this before, but for whatever reason it's been ignored by the powers that be.

@Aggelos-Minoudis Where do you want to turn off “Avoid Highways”? In the app or in the web planner? Here's how it works in the app: Open a route. Tap “Navigate” (do not tap “Start”). Then tap “Avoidance Options,” where you can enable or disable various options. Once you've made your selection, tap “Start” to begin navigation. Open your route Go to Options Go to Toolkit > Avoidances Check the box next to the avoidances of your choice [image: 1785220498739-22334.png] [image: 1785220507411-22335.png]

@Marinus-van-Deudekom @bfg He will probably click the “Download” button first, after which the file will be saved directly to the MRA app's download folder. He must first click “Export” and then tap “Share”; he can then select the Android download folder or Google Drive.

Slaat ongevraagd via routepunten over.

@corjan-meijerink This is the view from the driving position on an 11" screen. The exits at roundabouts aren't very clear. Imagine trying to see them on a 5" or 6" screen on a motorcycle. It's a nightmare trying to read the numbers. [image: 1785138449787-9912063b-9152-4025-b6f8-c00db6af8690-image.jpeg]

@Mike-wiruth, I think you enabled some messy track to be visible on the map? Try this: On your phone, in the main map, press the map-style button. [image: 1785138114820-a010dd02-e51d-44ad-bc59-e3caa487c7a2-image.jpeg] Then tap the second menu option: "Routes visible on map" [image: 1785138183124-c36bc9cb-48ae-4d30-b144-351ba252e19b-image.jpeg] If any routes are listed here, delete them by the X on the right Or click the bin symbol to delete them all at once. @Stevedo-6-0, What is "foreign" for you is not foreign for everyone. Your remark of "just browsing the map", I do understand, but it is the first time I see this on the forum. In the current web planner not much development will be done anymore, since a completely new web-planner is in the works. The workaround above seems to work just fine. It is true that the current webplanner is mainly targeted to planning routes. I can imagine the new web planner will be more similar to the current app planner workflow, but we will have to wait and see, and be patient.

@Jörgen if it has to avoid "Highways" then via Colonge is the option OSM works out as the best route on MRA your perception of what is & is not a highway will differ to OSM's plus MRA messes about with the settings for the OSM routing calculator, so what you get can be hugely unexpected & different to what the OSM site may show

@Brian-Dingsdale-0 The reason I suggest a track for the 7day overview of the route is that you can enable it on the NAV5 and have it visible beneath the route. For the 7 day route segments I would suggest that each day you start the route at least 1/2 mile from your accommodation, in the direction of travel, to ensure that you pass through the start point. If you try and start the route from where you are located you might accidently not pass through the start of the route and the device will keep trying to return you to the beginning. By placing the start some way away the unit knows where you are can route you to and through the start of the route.

I know the area of the first two well, and they look very good to me. Just rode 1/3rd of route 1 this afternoon! And I like the info waypoints. Only one minor comment: some of the waypoints are just in front of a vital turn (route 1 waypoints 7 & 45, for example). I worry that the waypoint announcement might clash with the turn instruction (if people are using audio). Both have waypoints after the junction, so 7 & 45 (and any similar pre-junction ones) might be redundant.

I can only assume the data is already accessible as it is displayed on screen while riding. How easily it could be turned into a Map Overlay might be something else.

"Disable season closures" is the best option here, especially since I'm riding this route on September 6th!
