Again on average. People tend to ride an average of 50 km/h without stops. Besides this i think most riders do know there average speed. When i ride with a (little) group i ride 50 km/h without stops and 30 km/h with stops on average. When you know your average speed. I becomes very easy to calculate. Also, the routeplanner give you also a pretty good indiction of the riding time. A few times i did a tour where the start, lunch and diner times where set in a certain windows. It is upto the rider to be there in time. From what I saw, hear and read. Nearly everyone knows there limits. These tours are tours with more than 200 people. With all the possible motorcycle and ridingstyles you can think of.

The more information that you add to your route, the more information that is included in the .pdf file, like route point names, information in the notes, coloured route points with icons and even photos and of course turn by turn instructions. @M-Schrijver Dat lijkt dan inderdaad zo te zijn. Van de week weer een route gemaakt en in de planner route ik om een wegafsluiting heen. Rij ik de route dan op de navigatie, dan zie ik een witte lijn die over de afsluiting heen loopt, maar vervolgens herplanned hij wel weer de route er omheen. Beetje inconsistent gedrag. Is prima mee te werken als je het weet, kom je bij de witte lijn aan, kan je altijd nog kiezen stoïcijns door te rijden, of het advies van de omroutering te volgen.

@ReneK Dat is wel vervelend. bij wij was dit na een koffiestop. Mijn gsm bleef in mijn kastje van mijn motor zitten. al ik telkens de route opnieuw moet opstarten via de telefoon is dit wel omslachtig. Hopelijk binnenkort een update die dit probleem oplost.

hi @Luc-Wijdeveld welcome to the excellence that is MRA, well perhaps an exaggeration, it has it's flaws but doesn't everything, learn by your mistakes when planning a route. there a few golden rules you must stick to, otherwise your beautifully planned route will have you going down closed roads back and forward along motorways etc etc. there are some who enjoy deprecating the app, do not pay attention to them, there are those who will mention OsmAnd in every thread possible, MEH! take the advice of the route experts and all the other good advice on here. some of it will work for you others may not. my Xt has not seen daylight for over 2 years, i used an oukitel RT3 tablet without issue on many mutli day trips, always offline, i have now moved on to a carpuride 702b and not had any issues in around 4 months of use, I am using it on a multi day trip in 2 weeks. sure it will be fine, if unsure, ask on this forum someone will know the answer, ignore the nay sayers.

@Guzzist - da hab ich mich vielleicht missverständlich ausgedrückt ... das aktuelle Limit wird immer angezeigt - richtig -, aber andere Programme (z.B. SYGIC) zeigen auf der Karte in der Ferne schon das nächste Limit an, auf das man zufährt - das finde ich enorm praktisch (und nützlicher für mich als Breiten- und Höhenbegrenzungen). Vielleicht könnte man das zumindest optional einblendbar machen?

@ferrand24gmail-com It seems to be back again. Same here with IPhone 13 and CP. Some versions ago the problem was solved.

@Roger-Meijers not sure if you've run into this situation or not, and it has previoulsy been reported - if the search term happens to be a long name, or shows mulitiple options, it's virtually impossible to select the correct option unless you actually select an address and see where it is on the map. Ich finde es eine nette Unterhaltung, was das Navi da in langen Tunneln (z.B. in Norwegen) macht. Ne im Ernst, einfach ignorieren. Das wird sicherlich irgendwann mal verbessert, aber es stehen noch wichtigere Dinge z.Z. an.
