Altitude does not match

The current beta 5.1 does have an extra icon for the altitude. But in my case it does not match the real altitude.
Some other apps i've tried show the real altitude.I live approx. at sealevel but Myroute shows an altitude around 46 meters. While the other apps show something like 0 or 1 meter.
When i ride over a bridge the altitude is climbing and the difference on top of the bridge and back down seems good. So somehow the startingvalue seems wrong. -
We indeed received some reports that different Android devices seem to report a wrong altitude.
Will be investigated.I know this sounds weird so unsure how that then works in the other apps but we literally just show the altitude as received by the GPS without any correction.

Doesn't most phone also have a barometer/pressuremeter for the altitude.
In one of the apps i tried. It shows a correct altitude but no position because the GPS couldn't detect a position (i was inside my house). -
