Hi all!
Yes, it has been a long time since there was an update. Normally when I say that it's only true because we have so many. Now it's actually just quite a while since the last one.
We are working on a major overhaul of the app. Completely revamping the experience and ensuring the app feels premium. This together with some core architecture improvements. It's just a lot of work and takes a while
That said, the app as it is definitely does operate quite well! Obviously there are some issues and this update aims to tackle that.
Audio stability
There were quite some issues where users reported that sometimes the selected voice would not work, there wouldn't be any audio or that it would be very low. Now there is the possibility that it is a user error but we've also identified some problems on our side
We hope the audio has significantly improved in this version!MapBox update
Map what? It's the engine used to show the maps when you launch the app. We've updated this to the latest version which will definitely contribute to the app stability. We are however curious if nobody has issues with this update. If you don't see any maps when launching the app, it's because of this. Don't worry, just let us know
Minimum iOS version
You are now required to have at least iOS 14 - no worries as all phones supporting iOS 13 (the previous requirement) also support iOS 14.Minor changes

- Fixed some typo's
- Resolved 2D HERE maps not loading on start screen
- Landscape modus shows option to recalculate route when you've disabled automatic recalculation and you deviated from the route
- Fullscreen mode actually dismissed correctly when exiting navigation (only applies when you've enabled fullscreen mode)
- Resolved position indicator alignment issue when switching between apps (we think)
Now that's it really
We are working incredibly hard on a major app update and besides that we are also improving our scenic routing algorithm / server and as nice extra we want to add custom overlay maps to help you plan by showing where scenic / RouteXpert routes are

I just did an update on Android but it appears to have updated to 4.3.8 -386

Net weer even gekeken in de appstore maar hij komt nog niet als update in de lijst voor. Alle programma's zouden "up to date zijn"!
Toch is MRA nog de 4.3.8 -386 versie
Maar . . . als ik MRA vervolgens handmatig opzoek in de Appstore, dan krijg ik ineens wel de mogelijkheid om te updaten. En inderdaad nu heb ik versie 439 - 391!
Vreemd. Zo heb ik het nog niet eerder gehad! Maar goed, dinsdag eens even gaan proberen. -

Gisteren een route gereden die ik jaren geleden in Basecamp heb gemaakt: Veel teveel routepunten en de meeste punten direct na de kruising geplaatst.
Wat mij opviel is dat, op één hand te tellen na, alle instructies werden uitgesproken. Een tijdje geleden had dit qua instructies een hele stille route geweest
Weet niet of het toeval is of dat er achter de schermen actief iets aan is verbeterd, maar ik was er gisteren erg blij mee
Verder geen bijzonderheden. App deed het prima op iOS.

Op mijn Thork tablet nadat ik updates had gestuurd.
Voor de zekerheid, het is een Bèta update dus misschien dat dat bij jullie veroorzaakt dat het niet automatisch gaat.
Jullie zijn toch ook Beta testers -

. Even aanvragen via een support ticket. Je loopt wel wat meer risico op bugjes natuurlijk. -

I don't like to use a translator all the time on my device. I can read and write in Spanish and Catalan, but, of course, in international forums, I allways write in English.I think is an educational reason against the rest or users.
Tambien puedo escribir en español, por supuesto, pero que necesidad hay de empezar a utilizar traductores?
