Recommendations for two locations in the Dolomites
-
Hi everyone, Im keen to find two locations in the Dolomites that I can use as a base for 2/3 nights each to be able to explore the best of the regional passes and routes. Does anyone have a suggestions please?
There are three of us travelling on motorbikes so somewhere that's bike friendly would be ace that's welcoming, has good food and good value.
Thank you.

@Stephen-Holmes you should probably describe better what kind of journey you are planning. do you want to do some hiking? do you want to visit towns, do some activity etc? how many km do you want to ride each day on your bikes?
If you just want to ride and explore the roads and mountain passes, you could ideally see "the best" in just a couple of days, so it's better if you tell us what kind of trip you'd like to do

The Old Gits have stayed at both these places:

https://www.ladymariahotel.com/en/Both were good and offered great locations to explore the local routes. I look forward to goimg back to both.
I have routes for the local ares around both hotels if you wanted them for reference.
