MRA Connection do not find my Garmin XT2
-
Dear all!
I am using an Apple macPro Air with Safari ad Chrome as the used browser for MyRoute-app and downloaded as documented the MacOS MyRoute-app Connector. If I now connect my Garmin XT2 via an original Garmin USB cable, the Connector does not find my connected XT2.
I did't expect that, so I thought it might be an issue with the the Mac and the XT2, so I started Basecamp to check if my XT2 will be found by Basecamp. This works totally fine.So, now my question is, why the mMyRoute-app connector do not find my XT2?
Meanwhile I extended my tests:
I installed Garmin Express which also finds the XT2.
I used a Windows Laptop and connected my XT2 to the PC and used the MyRoute-app Connector and this also worked perfect.So it looks like a problem with a) the MacOS version of the Connector. Any ideas?
Greetings

Hi Hans!
Thx for the link. I have read it before, but forgot about it
Really annoying what Argon is doing there. It is just another little bit of complexity nobody really needs.
I will play around with this a bit and see how it really feels in the day to days use.It more an more looks like, that my XT2 will leave me sooner then later and will move to MyRoute-app Next only
Greetings

Save route as... and transfer it via Android File Transfer to the GPX folder on the XT2 or send the route to the Tread app via the MRA app, then use gpx 1.1 because the Tread app / Garmin Explore does not handle the gpx properly 1.2.
The designers may be able to adjust the connector in such a way that in the future it will be possible to transfer the routes to the XT(2) in combination with a Mac.

Does the GPX 1.2 also includes the all Shaping points correctly?

@TomOnTour : Hallo,

@TomOnTour: Hello,
if you use an iPhone you should try it out, you always have your phone with you when you're out and about and you can access all routes via the MyRouteApp and transfer them to the XT or XT2.App exchange
- App for XT "Garmin Drive" works very well
- App for XT2 " ? " maybe also "Garmin Drive"
Cable transfer
- this is how it works with the N6, see picture
- USB adapter from Apple "use original"
- maybe it will work with the XT or XT2

gpx 1.2 is a route-track with via points, the gpx 1.1 includes alle shaping and via points. If you want to use the Tread app use the gpx 1.1

Nein, Garmin hat die Tread-App für den XT2 gestartet, die direkt mit der Garmin Explore-Website verknüpft ist.
