Problems with latest Beta

I have been very lucky whilst using the beta app through CarPlay and have had very few issues in the past however, on Saturday afternoon whilst driving planned route from my library of approx 60 miles I experienced a number of new issues with the latest Beta.
These included:- The volume of route guidance instructions being extremely low (indeed, on the motorway these were indistinguishable from the road noise) until about 40 miles along the route when they suddenly became very loud and therefore back to normal.
- I have the app display set to dark, however the display randomly changed to light two or three times over the route distance.
- Although the vehicle type was set to car, it suddenly started to show all road weight limits (not just 7.5 Ton) and as we entered the precincts of London and, in addition the display turned to Light, the display became almost unreadable.
None of these issues have occurred before, so something appears to have changed whilst using the latest Beta for IOS/Carplay - I also stopped at one stage to check that my settings and vehicle type were correct and then resumed the route but nothing had changed. I started the app with CarPlay again on Sunday and found once again that despite the display setting was set to dark - it presented as if in the light setting.
