Search for a route/track
-
Goodmorning 2uall,
I found a screenshot of a route in the Netherlands that I would like to drive, but I can’t find it in the library. Does anybody in the Netherlands know of this route and where to find it?The route is called ‘Mega rondje Nederland’.

@Nick-Carthew, We can search routes on a lot of different parameters, but as far as I am aware keyword is not one of them. It would be a good addition though. Maybe you can explain how you found this route?

Google is your friend.
Just type "myroueapp mega rondje nederland" in th searchfield. -
@Con-Hennekens It was posted in a facebook group by Michel.

Multiple roads lead to Rome (is that an expression in English? )
I think it would be logical to not need external search engines, but of course that works too. I am quite a Google search adept myself. But the conclusion is that it is not possible to find a route in the route database based on keywords. -
@Con-Hennekens In English the saying is: All roads lead to Rome.
Michel’s “Mega route” is not in the RouteXpert library, he shared it in a facebook group just as an idea. However, I do agree that the search function in the MRA RouteXpert Library could be refined.
I believe that this will be part of the major overhaul of the route planner.
Currently, the search box function in the library will find a place on the map and will show the library routes that are nearby. -
Txs, this helped, and will help, me to search correct. And more important, I found the route.

Exciting route!
I will be attending the MRA training course offered by @Jörgen at the end of March. For the way back home (from Neuenhoven to Hamburg) a part of the route is suitable - about waypoint 100-150 in reverse order.
I am now looking for interesting POIs along this section. My idea is to search for comparable routes in the library and find suitable POIs there. But what is the best way to proceed? If I use "find a place" and search for "Nederland", I get a graphical overview of the available routes, but spread over 250 pages of results. If I go to the overview page, I see the available routes as points, but not their course.
Is there a clever way to get suitable results quickly?
Thank you and best regards,
Martin
