automatic tracking

Is an automated tracking - 1 file per day planned in the future?
Often the thought of tracking only comes up when you're already on the road.
not the big problem when driving a car but on a motorcycle -
@Lisi-Mayr we might add a feature to automatically enable tracking when navigation starts.
Some hate the idea, some love it. I understand both sides. It therefore doesn’t have a very high priority now
-
I’ve always said that MRA is the king of giving its end users choices.
For those that want to record Tracklogs for every trip then give them that option via a Toggle button.
For those that don’t we can just toggle it off. -
@Steve-Lynch agree! But it’s just not the priority now. Automatic starting means you also want it to automatically pause and even more importantly it should resume when you start driving again. This should work flawlessly because just imagine the frustration if it pauses at a traffic light to eventually not continue

I’m in the hater camp on this one.

@Corjan-Meijerink if it is on the list it is ok for me.

Is this feature still in the works? I'd love to have it! I keep forgetting to turn tracking on so I missed a few 'country visited' achievements, now I'll have to go back Any idea on a timeline?

Some hate the idea, some love it.things like this should, like so many other features, always be optional.
MAybe there should be a standard approach: "everything is optional"?
-
@Drabslab, It IS optional
-
@Corjan-Meijerink thanks a lot - i will try it the next days
