Waypoints not connected directly, but via detour.

Why doesn't MRA connect point 82 and 83 directly, but via a detour? Is MRA looking at the realtime traffic info?
-
The roundabout is blocked, maintenance is guess.
Traffic layer on.

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Bedankt voor de reactie. Waar zet ik die "layer" af?
-

@Con-Hennekens THX!

This issue is still there, I don't know why it can't connect directly. I drove some days ago over this route.
-
@Bredimus-Marc-0, De Here en de TomTom kaart navigeren wèl gewoon direct:
Het lijkt erop dat OSM denkt dat de kruising met de begijnenwegel een verplichte rijrichting is.
-
On several routes the Here(Gold) Map recommended for using with MRANext when on the Web routing application, will nor follow obvious routes, if you move the points to within 10m of eahc other it still loops back around the loop. However with TomTom or several other maps it works correctly.
This is seems to happen on many mountain pass roads.
When loaded onto the MyRouteApp on iOS it routes correctly (same map???)
-
@laurencetherobothams-co-uk, That's due to roadworks on the B500.
-
@Con-Hennekens Thanks, I was not aware that Here Gold was road closure aware (it doesn't show anything on the map), the same route on the iOS App (or any of the other maps) does not show the road closure or route around it, when I loaded it up to test it, so you would still end up stuck at the road closure in it as it.... it's worrying as I have did 16 routes and most had similar anomalies.
Is the Here map on Myroute-app (iOS) road closure aware when navigating?

@laurencetherobothams-co-uk said in Waypoints not connected directly, but via detour.:
(it doesn't show anything on the map)
It does when you enable the traffic layer in the planner. That's what you are seeing in my screenshot above.
the same route on the iOS App (or any of the other maps) does not show the road closure or route around it, when I loaded it up to test it
Actually I see exactly the same detour when I load it into my app
You probably have "traffic aware routing" disabled in the functional settings, or no internet connection.it's worrying as I have did 16 routes and most had similar anomalies.
Well, in my experience, it is usually best to take the detour given by the signs in cases of roadworks. So no harm really done. Or, in a motorbike, it is often possible to continue anyway when the roadworks are silent in weekends

>>> I went back and checked most were on mountain roads, so closures or road works could be the relevant reason I will check them and if not, I will show any I find.Well, in my experience, it is usually best to take the detour given by the signs in cases of roadworks. Thanks for your help, sorry for doubting the great MRA system!! I'm still learning its 'kinks' but overall it is great!
Cheers

@laurencetherobothams-co-uk, no sweat! Doubt is what makes one curious, curiosity is what makes one learn
