Crash during A to B navigation
-
Yesterday while navigating an A to B route the app crashed. I restarted several times and each time I simply got a blank screen when trying to restart the route. Finally cancelled the route restart and did a search and started a new A to B route (same destination as before). Samsung S20 Android 13 MRAapp 4.0.2-203

@Doug-Robinson Did you send the crash report via the app. It’s always best to as the app ninjas 🥷 can normally see what went wrong.
-
@Nick-Carthew no crash report and the log appears to be empty.

@Doug-Robinson Helaas crashed mra next nog al eens en dat is jammer

@Doug-Robinson
You can send the crash report via:
Go to your account page in the app
Swipe all the way down
Press and hold the version number until the next screen
You can then save and/or send it immediately -

This happens to me also on Android quite often.
Basically the screen is completely grey, there is nothing on the screen, so you cannot actually get to any of the settings.
Sometimes it will then be ok on the next attempt when loading from the downloads, other times it may take 2 or 3 attempts.I do have the maps downloaded and I always load routes from the Downloads Offline or Online.
I guess this is still an issue similar to the old issue where Android would just crash. (i.e. Disappear)
This also happens for actual Routes (with Waypoints) not just for A2B Routes. -
@Lynchy67 had the same happen to me also regularly. When I get the grey screen I have to load the route from scratch again as I cannot resume nav after a crash on these occasions.

I also encountered this problem several times for no reason and without a crash report. It is necessary to restart from the download folder to regain normal operation.
It's a bit frustrating because for the rest of me who only browses offline, the application works perfectly. -
@Lynchy67 Das Problem tritt bei mir auch öfter auf. Es liegt also nicht an mir oder meinen Einstellungen. Auch ich bekomme keinerlei Fehlermeldungen oder Absturzberichte.
The problem happens to me more often too. So it's not me or my settings. I don't get any error messages or crash reports either.
