Roundtour not working

Hi! I am a (New) Gold member not very versed in electronics. I did follow guidelines, I think, by creating a roundtour on my Mac, saving it as track.POI and then importing it to my Zumo Xt.
When I rode the track, I had no information except the track itself. No upcoming turns, street names or anything but the speed limit. Totally ruined my afternoon as I had to follow the track and fight with it on my motorcycle. Constantly had to stop and try to adjust it but the info just wasn’t t available.Did I do something wrong or is it just that the app is temporarily unusable for roundtours ?
Also, my Apple computer doesn t read my Zumo XT. When it s plugged in, I turn the Zumo off before unplugging it from my Mac.
Is this the right way to go to safely remove the unit from the computer?Cheers !

Help! I have now tried the route I created from the route lab (from my Mac) on my Zumo Xt.
Again, I only get a basic map with the route on it. No turns available or anything else.
I m leaving tomorrow morning for a 23 day trip. I have 23 individual maps that I created for this trip . I created it using the here map as directed by the numerous videos, saved it as GPX 1.1 (track, POI).
What the hell did I do wrong. I only have today to fix this problem.I reached out to MRA but they directed me to the 3 year old videos that I had watched over and over again. Nothing works ! It is supposedly a breeze to do this according to these videos !
Can someone else help me ?

I now used my IPhone and the Garmin app. Saved the file as route.track.poi. Tried it out, again, nothing but the track itself and no driving guidelines

@Louis-P-Lacelle Louis, did you install Garmin Drive on your phone. If Yes go to routes in the new MRA next, choose the route, click on the download button, choose GPX 1.1, click on download, click on export, click on open, click open with Drive. Make sure your GPS in on and the track will be imported to your XT.
After choosing the imported trip on your XT convert the track to a trip and voila, you're ready to go

@Louis-P-Lacelle, I think you just found the track and selected it for being visible on screen. If you want to navigate it, you need to convert is to a trip. After that, select the route from your trip overview.

. I just purchased Lifetime access for MRA Navigation Next this minute.. It seems to take two days for it to be functional according to the site online. Is there another option for me for a few days of navigation?
And how do I convert my track to a trip on the Zumo Xt so that I can navigate it? I do not seem to have this option when I press on the wrench.
My only options are share, Delete, import and sync explore data.
I m sorry, I do spend a lot of time trying to figure all of this out, but I am a 62 year old guy who was just never around all this computer stuff . I always end up figuring things out but not this time !Thanks again for your help!
