Audio quality Apple-Carplay

I drove now a number of times short route with the beta test, using AppleCarplay in my Z4. Looks goods, but I noticed that the audio quality is really less than with the earlier MyRoute-app for AppleCarplay.
Is this known, will it be improved in the future?
