Alternative layouts
-
A suggestion most likely not for now but perhaps for the future - to allow the user a choice of screen layouts.
The innovative interface suggested by Jabp (https://forum.myrouteapp.com/post/16613) attracted a lot of interest and could be a good alternative for those who like the ‘Beeline’ system. A layout similar to Calimoto, with it’s bold information display, is very different to MRA, and may appeal to some others. I believe ‘head up’ displays are gaining popularity and this could be an option for the future. Possibly even a ‘road-book’ display! The alternative layouts could be selected in Settings.
Not that I think there is anything wrong with the current Next layout, I think it is excellent! And with a few more refinements (ie removing those pesky waypoints where the junction guidance should be!) and testing, will definitely be ready for general release.

@David-Bonner definitely agree! Would be cool

Also happy that you already mention that this isn’t for now as that’s very true too
