Export route to Android and then Zumo XT

I am unable to remove my Garmin Zumo XT easily from my motorcycle in order to export a route via the connector method.

Would someone be able to tell me the best method after creating a route on a PC to export via android so that I may then transfer the route to the Zumo?

Download the MRA Mobile App, download Garmin Drive on your phone.
Follow the instructions.
Open the route on the mobile app, tick on download, open the route with Garmin drive, the route will be transferred to the XT
