Car play issue with Navigation App

Hello new to forum but I have a question which I’m not sure where to post.
I have been using apple maps in CarPlay for my navigation and when it gives an instruction the radio reduces volume and when instruction has been delivered the radio volume returns to normal.
However when I use My Route app Navigation in CarPlay for my navigation and it gives an instruction it turns the radio off and the radio does not turn back on when the instruction is complete.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this or is it a known problem that you have to live with?

Hello Mike, I have the same issue. Hopefully this link (to my question) will lead you to the current situation with this problem. Thanks for your reply Mark, good to hear someone else has the same problem.
I took a look at your link and see the developers are working on it. Let’s hope the next revision to V1.1 fixes the issue.
