@Neil-Hinkins Hi @Neil-Hinkins The settings in the Navigation settings are saved, with a route the option, navigating from my current position, is always on. You can turn this off via the slider.

Thank you for raising this - having only had limited beta testing time so far, the low / poor quality audio description has been the major issue for me. I drive an open top car, and use Bluetooth headphones for the audio, as the wind and engine noise is (fabulously) loud! The clarity on MRA Navigation was excellent, and the beta test audio is a huge step backwards, so it is good to read that things will get better before it gets launched.

@Con-Hennekens I just love the simplicity of using tracks on the phone when I’m out on the bike on my own. I don’t ever need touch the screen, if I come across an issue the Track navigates me back on Track. I generally have never used Voice prompts, I may try using the Beep functionality as my Samsung S10 is just loud enough to cut through the roar of the Tiger using the phone speaker. Here’s an example of the Route that the app generates to get me to the start of the Route-Track. As you can see it cuts out 60% of the route using major A Roads. I generally make my own Route to the start of the Route-Track and then start the Route-Track on the blue flag. [image: 1679601370298-b8b47115-ba91-49de-b66e-336537931189.jpeg]

@Con-Hennekens ik vind het geluid ook iets te stil en heb dit opgelost met de app volume boost. Het zou inderdaad beter zijn mocht het MRA team dit kunnen aanpakken .

@Herko-ter-Horst, No of course not! Although it seems that apps that do exactly that are available. What I am proposing is the other way around: passing certain key presses of the foreground app (being MRA Mobile) to a secondary app. So if F3 is pushed (Barbuttons key 3 in keymap 3), it get's passed to Zello. In Zello you can define your own key that you want to use as PTT key. By the way: it is already possible to use Zello as PTT application while navigating. You only have to use an overlay button on your screen. Tap once and the channel opens, tap again and the channel closes. [image: 1679172593775-1f2016a9-6fb1-4cb4-94bd-c0efd9125667-image.png] You can drag that button to anywhere on screen. You can even place multiple buttons to different people or groups. You can even define multiple hardware keys to multiple people or groups. The volume slider is only visible because I miss-pressed the screenshot buttons

@Corjan-Meijerink, about: 2 - I know you choose that with the best intentions (and that is valued!) but I kind of dislike that. The method of cycling though options is already used for the WP icon, so why invent a new method? Also on wobbley roads it is much more difficult to hold your finger then to tap twice. 6 - There are MANY webpages explaining how compasses work and they ALL talk about the RED needle pointing North. None of them explain WHY however. I suppose the reason for that is that the magnetized needle is considered a PLUS pole, and like with electronics, plus is associated with the color red. For South mostly chosen colors seem to be blue or white. My personal non-knowledgeable explanation for that: These are "cold" colors (Southpole is much colder than Northpole)...

Whilst I understand not being able to see the smaller font as I have the same problem making them bigger will take up more screen and so less map visible. having these boxes as a pop up in a larger font would be a better choice.

Ah yes, this idea has been shared before so thanks for pointing it out again! We'll see what we can do about it in the future, currently we are working on slightly more critical issues & features. Thanks for understanding!

@Dave-Nei let’s hope for the snow to disappear quickly! Our next update will work on CarPlay, if your 4x4 snowmobile has CarPlay (and you use an iPhone), you can still test Android Auto will follow next!

@StefanHummelink said in Display of waypoints in the top left window: @Dae-0 I would always stop at the side of the road if I need to skip multiple waypoints for distinct reasons, but yea you are right. The longpress method involves more interaction, but yet is very fast I would too, but on the Garmin a single “skip via point” tap on the screen, or a flick of the BMW wheel, will skip the next via point and all the waypoints between my position and that via point so it’s not necessary. With MRA I think stopping will be my only choice. Hopefully people don’t interpret my posts incorrectly. I’m not trying to be awkward, just suggesting how other systems offer a safer and more user friendly way of doing things. It’s only with all our constructive feedback and ideas that MRA Next can become the truly awesome product that it’s shaping up to be. I’d be quite happy if there was a toggle so the top right hand corner either displayed via and way points or just via points (hands) and changed the skip function accordingly.

@Pletse, Are you aware that you can download a gpx (from email, internet or wherever) on your phone, and open it directly into MRA Mobile bij clicking on it? This way you will find the routes under your profile-icon and then "Offline available". Both track and Route are visible and selectable for navigation there (if both are in the GPX of course). @Corjan-Meijerink, maybe it is an idea to move that menu-option to a tab in the Routes menu. Or perhaps even to have it sync with the routelab. Ideas for a later date I suppose
