@Drabslab @Jabp I also an advanced Tripy user and use the Tripy for trips and events with the oldtimer club. The roadbooks, the Tripy can make are great. The idea from @Jabp is just marvelous. Option for "no map" and the possibility to print a roadbook would be great. Hopfully they put it some where on the roadmap of Next Navigation app. [image: 1680385368117-3392724.jpg]

Don't clutter the screen. 2 clicks is not an issue.

@Con-Hennekens said in MRA Navigation mit ConnectedRide Cradel und Multi-Controller…: @Dae-0, you don't use it, but are asking for compatibility? Looks like a dashboard app. No, I don’t use it. I made enquiries with the vendor as I was considering using a dedicated Android phone for navigation. I instead went with a CarPlay device and Wunderlinq, which work together in the Scenic app. Once Next supports this setup and fixes the issue with having to start routes from the phone every time CarPlay disconnects I’ll probably move to Next. At the minute the lack of controls and basic CarPlay implementation prevent me using Next for real navigation, although I’m obviously testing and feeding back. This isn’t a slur on Next; it’s an early release and its current limitations are well documented and are being worked on. It’s shaping up nicely.

Open the menu, goto settings, choose "Fenster layout" or similar (4th option from the top) and disable the second option.

@Michael-Ferguson just search of an address, select a favorite or long press the map where you want to go. You’ll be offered the exact same options as for a round trip but now between your location and the selected destination Adding intermediate stops is not possible yet! This will most likely be added in the future (but not in one of the upcoming updates)

@Frank-Schurer super! Dat is inderdaad zoals verwacht (voor nu). @Corjan-Meijerink said in New Beta! (v3.2.10) CarPlay, roundtrips and much more: Lastly there are some important issues with regards to CarPlay that we already know about (these will be addressed in a future update): MyRoute-app Mobile needs to be launched or in the background before connecting CarPlay Start CarPlay while on the home screen (the one shown when launching the app ) Dank voor het testen

@Neil-Hinkins Hi @Neil-Hinkins The settings in the Navigation settings are saved, with a route the option, navigating from my current position, is always on. You can turn this off via the slider.

Thank you for raising this - having only had limited beta testing time so far, the low / poor quality audio description has been the major issue for me. I drive an open top car, and use Bluetooth headphones for the audio, as the wind and engine noise is (fabulously) loud! The clarity on MRA Navigation was excellent, and the beta test audio is a huge step backwards, so it is good to read that things will get better before it gets launched.

@Con-Hennekens I just love the simplicity of using tracks on the phone when I’m out on the bike on my own. I don’t ever need touch the screen, if I come across an issue the Track navigates me back on Track. I generally have never used Voice prompts, I may try using the Beep functionality as my Samsung S10 is just loud enough to cut through the roar of the Tiger using the phone speaker. Here’s an example of the Route that the app generates to get me to the start of the Route-Track. As you can see it cuts out 60% of the route using major A Roads. I generally make my own Route to the start of the Route-Track and then start the Route-Track on the blue flag. [image: 1679601370298-b8b47115-ba91-49de-b66e-336537931189.jpeg]

@Con-Hennekens ik vind het geluid ook iets te stil en heb dit opgelost met de app volume boost. Het zou inderdaad beter zijn mocht het MRA team dit kunnen aanpakken .

@Herko-ter-Horst, No of course not! Although it seems that apps that do exactly that are available. What I am proposing is the other way around: passing certain key presses of the foreground app (being MRA Mobile) to a secondary app. So if F3 is pushed (Barbuttons key 3 in keymap 3), it get's passed to Zello. In Zello you can define your own key that you want to use as PTT key. By the way: it is already possible to use Zello as PTT application while navigating. You only have to use an overlay button on your screen. Tap once and the channel opens, tap again and the channel closes. [image: 1679172593775-1f2016a9-6fb1-4cb4-94bd-c0efd9125667-image.png] You can drag that button to anywhere on screen. You can even place multiple buttons to different people or groups. You can even define multiple hardware keys to multiple people or groups. The volume slider is only visible because I miss-pressed the screenshot buttons
