@William-17 Bedoel je dat er een grijze laag over het scherm blijft liggen? Hebben dat inderdaad laatst geconstateerd en gaan het oplossen!

Voor diegene die geen Garmin XT of XT2 hebben. Ik gebruik hiervoor een OTG (OnTheGo) kabel op mijn android. Google maar op "OTG kabel - USB C naar USB A" of "OTG kabel - microUSB naar USB A" afhankelijk van welke laadpoort je telefoon heeft. Hiermee kun je (als je android OTG ondersteund) je Garmin op je telefoon aansluiten. OTG zorgt er namelijk voor dat je telefoon poort als Server (PC) gaat fungeren en je Garmin als client gaat zien. In je Android zal je in de "mijn bestanden" app een extra drive gaan zien als de Garmin gekoppeld is (even geduld). Je kunt vervolgens je gedownloade route als .GPX bestand naar je Garmin kopieren dan wel verplaatsen. Let ff op dat je dit bestand wel in de directory GPX op je Garmin moet zetten. daarna kun je de route of track inclusief POI's (afhankelijk van welke versie je gedownload hebt) zonder problemen importeren.

Toevallig dacht ik hier ook aan tijdens mijn rit vandaag, mooi dat deze functie in de app toegevoegd gaat worden

@Volker-Mahl on an Andriod phone you can use the pull down settings to lock the rotation in either landscape or portrait.

@Corjan-Meijerink, de OnRoute motorkaart toevoegen Maar hoe dan ook, het is gewoon lastig om in een plat land als Nederland "spannende kronkelroutes" te genereren. Daar hebben wij simpelweg het wegennet niet voor. In bergachtige streken krijg je zo'n route al vanzelf, als je van de hoofdwegen af blijft.

Ik vermoed dat ik niet de enige bent die de telefoon midden op het stuur heeft en daarbij nog een tanktas. Ik zou zeggen probeer het eens uit op de crossrunner met tanktas! Tijdens het rijden bedien ik de app ook, soms om even wat te zoeken (tankstation) of om via een andere app even een foto te schieten of iets. als je dan terug naar de route gaat moet je op die knop drukken. Vindt het zelf erg vervelend want hij zit op de crossrunner met tanktas op een rot plek.

Interesting, I now go over all my routes to make sure there are no waypoints in front of turns. I move waypoints to after the turn.

@Didier-Gmz This is already available in the app. It's turned on by default. Check Navigation settings > audio to verify if the audio warnings are turned on. Check Navigation settings > Screen layout to verify if the visual warnings are turned on.

@Calibos it would be possible to add this information in the waypoint pane of the navigation. Indeed this information does not appear anywhere in the navigation application.

Thanks for the feedback. I never really saw a reason to run a tracklog while navigating a route. The timeline is actually really neat. I may play with this a little more.
