I too lost voice prompts. Then I realised that it was because my Carpe Iter tablet and helmet intercom had lost the bluetooth connection when I'd stopped for a break, leaving the tablet on the bike and taking my helmet with me. Fixed by re-making the Bluetooth connection in the tablet settings. But that may not be your problem!

We definitely do not guarantee identical scenic routes across devices with same settings. Better yet, if you generate the same scenic route on the same device you will probably get different results too. There definitely (by design) is some variation.
