Nee, in principe brengt de app je terug naar de track die je aan het rijden bent. Soms lukt dat niet, of wijk je te vaak af, en dan wordt het inderdaad een snelste route naar het eindpunt. Misschien zou het wel een idee zijn om daar een melding op te genereren, zodat je weet dat de track niet meer gerouteerd wordt. Misschien pikken de devs dit op?

@smuiger mijn ervaring hiermee is om de waypoints veel verder vóór of ná een kruising- of splitsing van wegen of ná een rotonde te plaatsen. Sinds ik dat doe heb ik geen problemen meer met het missen van spraakinstructies. Een waypoint is er tenslotte alleen maar voor om te zorgen dat je juist die weg inrijdt waar ook het waypoint staat. Of je hem dan plaatst vlak ná de afslag of 500 meter verder, dat maakt niets uit. Probeer het eens op een route die je vaker rijdt.

@Corjan-Meijerink dat is jammer. Ik kan me voorstellen dat ik niet de enige ben die er last van heeft. Aan de andere kant ik een Apple zijn niet de beste vriendjes Het grappige is dat het op mijn Android telefoon geen gedoe oplevert, maar Android en ik zijn wel beste maatjes

@Corjan-Meijerink I had the exact same issue in Maine going to a Dairy Bar for ice cream. Oddly enough, the map even showed the name of the Dairy Bar in the correct location but when I typed in the name, it sent me to a house down a back road.

@Con-Hennekens just to be clear the second turn shows the distance from the current position. That is why it counts down. I hope they don't change this as I think it would then be confusing to people. I've only seen this happen a few times. Each time the distance was the same as the next waypoint. Not a huge deal but confusing when I first noticed it.

@Con-Hennekens I always navigate offline so it's not a problem of connection loss. I make several stops on my route, sometimes it starts again without problem and sometimes no map displayed and impossible to resume navigation. I said, the only way to get back to normal behavior is to restart the navigation from the download folder. and to get back to the display of the osm map, I have to go online and go offline again
