In the Netherlands, you can find out how much salt has been spread on the main roads.

Very good! In the UK, you can see which roads will get gritted, but not the amount:
https://www.gov.uk/roads-council-will-grit

Which then links off to each council when you enter a postcode.
For example:
https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/gritting

Not all councils have got their act together as well as Warwickshire, though.
