Part of the map disappear

iPhone 11P, iOS 17.6.1. I have been in a really cool diner. I have opened the MyRoute-app, and changed the map layer to Satellite. I have saved my location in the Favorites, and closed app. After I was done with my meal, I have opened the app, and selected my destination from the Favorites. I have started the navigation, and the route was displayed in the HERE map.
I have followed the route for a while, and then decided to take a different path. I was sure that after a while, and multiple u-turn requests, the navigation will be restored on the new route.
Instead, the blue line disappeared, and part of the map went blank. I have stopped the navigation, and when I have done that, the map overlay returned to the Satellite.
I have selected the HERE maps, entered my destination from Favorites, and did not have issues any more.
The thing that concerned me was that the part of the map disappeared, and after a while the road picked up again. I have never seen that before. I still have seen the next turn (I do not really know if it was real, the display could have been stuck at this point,) the speed was displayed correctly, etc.
