Workaround to stay on the Routeplanner web site
-
I wanted to modify a route, by adding favourites to it. The Android app has limited edit capabilities so I located the route in Chrome on my mobile Android based device. However, opening the route forced me into the app. Why? That was not what I wanted.
Eventually I found a work around. Long press the route, untill Chrome's popup appears, and open it in another browser tab. -
@Makro In the app scroll to the bottem and this button should open MRA Routeplanner in your favorite browser app.

This is default Android behavior.
You can turn it off.- Open settings
- Go to Apps > Default Apps > Open Links
- Select the app (MyRoute-app) from the list
- Disable Open Supported Links
Then all links will open in the browser, rather than the app.

@Corjan-Meijerink Thank you for the explanation.
It's always a shame that the default settings caused confusion, but now I have two options of what to do, nice
