Route instructions at very low volume

Having just returned from a long tour of Scotland I can report that there seems to be an issue with the volume of route instructions etc when using CarPlay.
Despite turning up the iPhone sound the and ensuring the car system sound was turned up, the instructions are barely audible?
I was on my bike and had no issues however, my family who were in a car utilising CarPlay on the same route could not rectify the issue? One thing to note is that, whilst I was using the Beta version my family were using the standard up to date version. -

@Stephen-Rowland No it didn't make any difference at all - very strange as previously it seems to work fine.
