Traffic detour notification

In my travels this week Navigation all of a sudden wanted to take me off an off ramp on the interstate to a two lane road without explanation. As it turned out, I should have taken the detour as the interstate was stop and go traffic for the next 25 miles. My suggestion when a detour comes up is to have a voice explanation of why it all of a sudden takes me off route.

The app will show your initial route already with the detour. During navigation there will be no suggestions for detours due to traffic, so it must have been there from the get go.
But you are right, better warnings for traffic related detours are on the devs minds

@Con-Hennekens specifically, the width of the blue route line compared to the traffic issue lines (yellow, red)...the blue line virtually covers up the traffic lines because it is such a wide line.
