How to have more than 200 waypoints?

Hello,

I'm tracing motorcycle offroad tracks and TO fit to the path, I need to add a lot of waypoints. The problem is that I get very quickly to more than 200 waypoints and then the system block. Would you have a solution to bypass this limit?

If you need more than 200 waypoints, you do something wrong is my opinion.
It seems you need so many waypoint because you try to force the map to do something it wasn't meant to do.

@M-Schrijver I'm doing offroad trace where standards route calculator are not following little path in the wood. SO I have to put toons of points to fit the road curves.
And all off-road trace that you can find have way more than 200 waypoints.
Sometime I get up to 800 waypoints.

Use the off road fuction in the toolbox

When you want a track which follows the paths on the map, it is still possible you will have the 200 points limit. But selecting the "offroad" function is probably the best option/compromise.

For offroad I think you should stick with using the track, and not try to make a route out of it. The only solution I see for now, is to do it in segments of 200 WPs, and combine the resulting tracks into one with a third party tool.
