Is there a chance to add a quick mute button to stop voice prompts? Recently I had couple of calls while navigating a city. During the call, the voice prompts were overpowering the conversation. I could not stop, get to the menu to stop navigation voice, it was a mess.
It would be nice to have a quick way to silence the navigation prompts, and not the phone conversation.

Did you use a BT Headset? If yes then you need to change the order of paired devices and give the phone higher priority.

        Hardware
        iPhone 12 pro (iOS 17.0.2)
        Oukitel RT3 (Andr. 12)
Samsung Galaxy XCover 4 (Andr. 9 Pie)
        Wireless CarPlay mit (Elebest C650)
Wired CarPlay (SEAT Arona - 2021)

          Fun suggestion.
Now it really is only two clicks (depending om screen size):

          • open menu
          • disable voice prompts

          Quicker ideas would be:

          • button on map (not ideal, limited space)
          • hidden action (long press something, not ideal too)

I get the idea but don’t really know now what the best ‘solution’ would be 😉

@Corjan-Meijerink I get you. I could not think about anything "slick" to do that.
I was using a phone, and two step was difficult in the busy city traffic. I have to practice it without the traffic to get efficient in it. I need new glasses too... 🙂

@Jörgen Thanks Jorgen. I was using the car radio's BT from my phone.
