Problems detecting online status

I headed out for a ride yesterday. Shortly after getting going I got a message saying no Internet switching to offline. A few minutes later it said switching to online. Then another message saying switching to offline. This went on for several interactions. Each time it took a while to recover a recalculation. The area I was in had very good data service. I suspect there were general internet problems. I finally switched to offline mode and things were fine but now I lost traffic aware routing. I think the app has to do a better test before attempting to go back online.

@Doug-Robinson yes thanks! We already added a requested internal change to verify the internet speed rather than checking if there simply is ‘a’ connection
