No day/night switching

Test sur 800km version 4.02 browsing only offline
1-I set the dark light mode to automatic but this weekend I had to switch to night mode manually on the route. How should I do automatic day-night switching? With which sensor is the change detected?
2-during a long shutdown leaving the application in service during the pause, on restarting on the display of the next instruction, there is no longer any dynamic display as well as in the display of the distance remaining to be traveled .The two displays are frozen but the guidance remains functional and the dynamic navigation view. To find correct operation restart the route from the download file
3-the application has closed several times for no apparent reason or connection. I thought it could be due to a non-existent GPS satellite signal but after restarting it becomes OK again
it's a shame the application works pretty well overall but these crashes alone spoil the navigation. You have to stop, restart and start again.

1: it should occur worst case within a maximum of 20 minuten after sundown. We don’t use the sensor. In tunnels it should also switch to night mode automatically.

ok so if it's with the time then I don't understand why it doesn't work for me in automatic mode.
Even if the brightness of the tablet is set to maximum it does not disturb the switching? -
@Calibos correct, that should not matter.
Do note, it only works while navigating - not in the app itself. -

I found why it doesn't work, I confused the "app theme" setting with the "map theme" setting and there it works fine but as you say only while browsing.
