No Voice Commands

Left this morning to follow a route to La Ciotat from home including a few shaping points.
Routimg was fine and a big improvement since the last time I used this application (in March) however, no voice commands.
I stopped a few times to see if there was anything obvious as they worked before but nothing stood out.
Had to revert to my trusty Sygic once I got to the more tricky sections as otherwise I would have been looking down at the phone in the town trying to see where the hotel was.

@Nick-Dawson I have another two journeys planned on this holiday but cannot afford the time to play with MyRouteApp Navigation (even though I prepared the routes in advance).
Will be using Sygic as it is more reliable (for me) bit will occasionally check the forum to see if anyone else has seen this problem.
A great application with a lot of promise but to become mainstream, it simply needs to work without fiddling about.

@Nick-Dawson, Obvious Questions
- Is Voice enabled in the settings? And volume upped?
- What device are you using?
- Are you using Carplay or Android Auto, or running natively on your device?
- The app makes use of the speech synthesis native to the OS. Check those settings too. For Android it is like: Settings - accessibility features - accessibility - Text to Speech

@Nick-Dawson don’t know your OS, but for iOS don’t use Siri Voice1 or Voice2!

@Nick-Dawson I have had the same problem, voice prompts were enabled, volume was up and I was not using car play. However on the next route the voice prompts were working again without any intervention from me.

@Roger-Doidge thank you Roger (and everyone else who replied).
Android is the OS, volume is up (I can play music and SYGIC works perfectly well), voice prompts are ON and everything looks to be as it should be.
Yes, one of life's mysteries and perhaps it will never happen again.
It is however something that needs to be investigated by the development team as if this happened to myself and to you (Roger), then it will happen to others too.
