is it possible to change the navigation settings after the navigation has been started - i.e. change avoid ferry?

and maybe show speed limits while only tracking without navigating

@Lisi-Mayr both are unfortunately not possible for now. The first suggestion is on our list, the other is slightly more complicated as we would need to get that information from the navigation module which isn’t loaded in that part of the app.
