Displaying the photo attached to a waypoint
-
Good morning,
By testing this evening on a route made with MRA planner, as I am attaching a photo to a waypoint, would it be possible when we arrive at the point or a little before having a temporary display of this photo. This will tell the driver what to see at that waypoint.
Sounds like a nice feature to me, but is it doable? -

.
Like a photo in Waze or Google Maps when you approach a highway exit? I also think that's a nice feature. Now you have to actively click on the waypoint yourself. -
I don't understand if you are being ironic or if you find this really interesting.
I think that on the handlebars of a motorcycle not letting go of the hands of the handlebars seems a good thing. As well as the automatic zoom when changing direction but you are right it is a personal appreciation. So it remains a good suggestion for me . -
@Calibos That's why I voted! And it's not ironic at all! Try it yourself. Attach a photo to a waypoint, start navigation and click that waypoint. Then you will see that photo. So, good idea!

Now I think why you find me ironic. You started your post with "good morning" while it's evening for me... so good evening

Ok sorry I didn't understand the nuance. The translation loses a lot of the subtlety of the dialogue

@Calibos No hard feelings...

I like the idea!

@Corjan-Meijerink Ooo - how about StreetView of the next junction, pre-fetched and cached so there's no delay because of poor connectivity.
That would be really sweet, but only if opt-in and automatic (i.e. no tap needed).
In version 2.0 eh!
