Some problems/questions from todays ride:
-
This time I am using the correct version of the software

I have previosly created a couple of routes and downloaded them to the app on my Huawei Psmart.-
I selected the rout: Open Route: Navigate: Start:
As soon as I started navigating I had to take a detour due to roadworks and the app recalculated the route.
The route is only 68 miles, not complicated, but it took a long time to recalculate, when finished I had completely lost my original rout and a totally different route to the same location had been selected.
When a recalculation is triggered does the app recalculate the route to the next way point then resume as previously planned? If so, then my rout was created with only 2 way points (start and end) so this would explain why this happened. So in future, if a create a route with many way points re routing will not lose the whole route. Am I correct? -
Continuing on the new route the lagging issue was very much evident and negotiating close junctions was difficult. I think (from another thread) that this is now resolved is this correct?
-
Route recalculations were being triggered almost at every major junction, even though I was staying on track. Is this due to the lagging issue?
-
Route recalculation was taking a long time 10 to 15 seconds, is this acceptable?
-
Does the map location search only work online? Should it work Offline?
Thank you.

Thank you.
- Yes it navigates quickest way (or whatever your setting is) to the next waypoint. If you have only two waypoints no route whatsoever can be guaranteed.
- Will be solved first update
- No idea, have not seen that at all
- Where you navigating online or offline? I see your phone is somewhat of a budget phone (no offense). I can imagine that online navigation is quicker due to the calculation power of the hosting servers. A phone is no match for that. It would be nice to know if you experience different results when navigating on-line.
- yes, indeed it does only work online. Maybe something for a later date.

- I don't know if at the time I was online or ofline as I don't know the status of the signal at that time?
Agree my phon is not top end, however, other navigation apps appear to work faster than MRA?

@Angelo-Greco, I can imagine, but maybe you could try some calculations online and offline to give my hunch a reality check
