ITN File empty

Help please,
When I save an ITN route all I get is an empty file. No problem with GPX what am I doing wrong.

How do you save the route?
How do you see the file is empty?
Is this happening with more routes?

From the save as menu ITN file but then on my desktop the file is only 1KB no route content

And did you use that file in a navigator.
ITN files are small!
I just tried a route of 500km and that is 2kb and functional.
