Screen goes to sleep

If another app is opened during navigation (for example, receiving a phone call), then afterwards the navigation app doesn’t keep the screen awake and the screen constantly goes to sleep during navigation. The only way to fix it is to restart the app and re-enter the destination.
A bit of a deal breaker for me until it’s fixed as it’s often not possible / unsafe to restart the app etc while driving.
I’ve had to revert to google maps for the moment. -
