Suggestion: Display battery temperature

Here's one that might be a tad different...
How about providing and option to display battery temperature while navigating? Currently I use a simple app to do this. It displays the current battery temperature in the notification bar. Why? There are occasions where navigation apps can make the phone run hot (particularly when the phone is in direct summer sunlight). I'd like being made aware when I may be running the phone too hot.
The only problem - my aging eyes. It would be nice if MRA Mobile could display this more prominently somewhere. Also, it would be good if the feature had a user configurable max/warning temperature that changed the color (RED).
