Tom Tom Rider 42
-
Hi, this is all new to me and I'm trying to download maps from MRA to my Tom Tom Rider 42. I have them on MRA but they won't download onto the sat nav. Is it too old a version? It keeps asking me to make sure I've pressed the import route button on the sat nav, but there isn't one.
I'm getting very frustrated ! Anyone help please, Thanks Jim. -

Hi Jim, you can’t download maps from MRA.
Create a route using the TomTom map and save it as .itn
Then you can copy past it in your Navigation system. -
@hans-van-de-ven-mra-master any idea how i create a map in Tom Tom please?
Maybe I'm missing the point, but I have been given routes for 6 days on itn and I've put them on MRA. So do I have to use a Tom Tom programme? -

Map = the equivalent of a paper map, i.e. all the roads available in a certain area. This normally comes with your navigation device (any updates should be available through your navigation device's manufacturer).
Route = the route you actually want to drive. This is what you can create using MRA Routeplanner. But you've been given routes by others, so you don't actually need MRA.Your device uses TomTom MyDrive to get routes onto your device. Here's TomTom's manual to get routes onto MyDrive and synchronise them with your device.
