Change Travel Mode for a Route that you have started in CarPlay

Since I now have an EV, I have routes that I use for both the bike and EV car but I frequently forget which travel mode the route has been originally designed. I know I can change of the phone before I start a route but it would be helpful if I could change the travel mode ‘on the fly’ in CarPlay when I look to search for a petrol station of the first suggestion (orange icon) on the route is a charging station and not petrol for the bike (or vice versa).
Not a high priority but it would be really helpful as this was never a problem until I had an EV. 🤪
